Telegram can now summarize posts. Do you still need a separate bot?

The built-in summary helps when you already have a long post open and want to first understand what it is about.

If you follow several channels, that is not enough. To enable a summary, you need to enter the channel, open a specific post, and select its summary. When there are many new messages, you have to do all of this for each one. So yes: if you follow several channels and do not want to open each one, a separate bot can be useful.

What the bot sends

Add public channels to the «Essence» Bot, and it will send summaries of new posts so you can decide which ones to open in full.

Each message includes a summary and a label indicating the attachment type; the bot does not display the media itself.

The bot does not replace the original and does not guarantee that you will receive every message.
